Richard:
"Metronomic" is a cleverly used word, implying a single repeat of a simple idea or pattern, pretty much describing the structure of this track, whereas "Underground" implies an alternative and undisclosed vibe, of something mysterious going on behind the scenes, or is it just a not-so-obvious but very clever cross-link between 'Metro' and 'Underground', geddit? But what about the music? Is it repetitively mysterious, as the title suggests, or is it moronic, on and on, not so fun, fun, fun on the Kraftwerk Autobahn? Personally, I think it's a parfait opener to a very enjoyable album, but you decide.
